Victor was amazing and on time. We were first brought to a nice local breakfast restaurant where we learned about comal. This was actually my favorite part and we asked if we can go again to the restaurant after the Hierve El Agua tour. Victor is a great guide and we are thankful to have stumbled upon this tour at Mexico Insider. Plus points to the Concierge who were checking on us regularly during the tour. Thank you so much!!!

Wow, where do we even begin? My partner and I are seasoned travelers, and we’ve been lucky enough to see some incredible sights around the world. But the Hierve el Agua tour stands out as one of our most memorable experiences to date. Coming from Idaho, we’re no strangers to natural beauty, but Hierve el Agua was a different kind of stunning that took our breath away!
Victor was phenomenal. Not only was he extremely knowledgeable about the geology and history of the petrified waterfalls and mineral springs, but he also had an incredible gift for storytelling that brought the whole landscape to life.
Oh, and let’s not forget the breakfast stop! We were treated to an authentic local taco breakfast that was absolutely mouthwatering. We’re talking about fresh handmade tortillas, delicious local cheeses, and salsa that was out of this world. Plus, we got to enjoy freshly brewed Oaxacan coffee!
Honestly, this was a magical day that exceeded all our expectations. If you’re visiting Oaxaca, this tour is a must-do—you won’t regret it. We can’t recommend it highly enough, and we’ve been telling everyone back home in Idaho!
Thanks again to Victor and the whole team for making our experience unforgettable. We’ll be back!
