Hi Leana! The Marina area is super quiet and I don’t think walking is an issue because the bike lanes and boardwalk go all the way up to Marina Cortes. If you are renting a car, I don’t see any issue? Let me know if I can help you with anything else!

What a great resource, thank you! My wife and I are planning to visit in July. We have two daughters, 6 and 9, and the two of us scuba dive but assume we will only snorkeling for most of the trip due to the kids :).

Anyway, I don’t know if you are checking your comments, but I’m wondering if you can give me some advice. We are choosing between a couple of condo rentals and can’t decide. One is in Torres Cantera, up on a hill (Lomas de Palmira) with beautiful views, and the other is in Vista Coral, right at the Marina de Cortes, so very walkable to the Malecon and Centro. The main difference would be walkability vs. quiet (and a really nice penthouse patio 🙂 and any insights would be helpful. We will be renting a car.
We are probably going to stay about 11 nights. On the way up we plan on staying in Cabo Pulmo for 4 or 5 nights to scuba/snorkel.
