What a week! I joined Mexico Insider’s day of the dead trip and it was one of the best trips! We stayed after the trip and used this map. We discovered a mezcal bar with few tourists,I love it! Thanks for this useful Oaxaca map!

I used this map on my recent day of the dead trip. Trisha’s recommendations are authentic and I would’ve not found these places without this map! I suggest they make an app for this. The places on this map are fantastic, we enjoyed using it a lot.

Great and affordable if you are traveling with less than 3 people. Car is comfortable, driver is clean and funny. Highly recommended!

I did the Lucha Libre Mask Workshop with Rick and Yolanda and honestly, it was such a good time. My 3‑year‑old was right there with me, painting and sticking things on his mask like it was the best craft day ever! Rick was super patient and made it feel easy, not rushed. The coolest part was heading straight to the match after. my son wore his mask the whole time, cheering like a tiny luchador. I’d totally recommend it. it’s creative, family‑friendly, and just pure fun.

I joined a mezcal tasting in Mexico City and it honestly felt more like hanging out with friends than a formal class. The host shared stories behind each bottle, from small villages to wild agave, and explained how to taste mezcal in such a simple, fun way. We laughed, swapped stories, and every sip came with something new to learn. By the end, I felt connected to the culture, not just the drink. I’d definitely recommend this experience. It’s real, relaxed, and worth booking.

Monte Alban was awesome.!!! The views were insane, and walking around the ruins felt super cool. Our guide was chill and explained things in a way that actually made sense. It wasn’t too long, just the right mix of history, nature, and good vibes.

Viator cancelled our tickets to Frida Kahlo Museum so Mexico Insider was a real life saver! It was our last day for excursions and we are thankful for the help that Maria provided for us in customer service.

We did not want to ride the bicycles but we ended up doing it anyway (lol!). It was a lot of fun and it is great to interact with the locals.
